Invest in limited partnerships

A separate limited partnership is created for each investment property, with American Life serving as the managing general partner. When you invest in one of our development projects, your capital purchases a share of the limited partnership. Each partnership owns one property and acts independently of the other partnerships, so there is no polling on investment returns. You'll be glad to know that as our limited partner, you have NO obligation to fund future capital needs. We assumes full responsibility for all future financial needs.

Income and capital gain calculation

Investors receive 70% of the monthly income and capital gains related to that partnership.

• Example of monthly income calculation: if you own 10% of the partnership interests, and monthly property rents are $1,000, you would receive 70%*1,000*10% = $70/month
• Example of capital gain calculation: if you invest $500,000 in a property that cost $1,000,000, then you own 50% of the property. If the property sells for $2,000,000 at a later date, you will receive your $500,000 initial investment back plus 70% of the profit, or $350,000, for a total of $850,000.

Rental income is calculated on a partnership-by-partnership basis and is paid monthly. American Life charges no asset management fees to the partnerships, but does charge tenant property management fees.
